CNP Monthly Picks - Creative and Fine Art

• Album - CNP Monthly Picks - Creative and Fine Art
• It's not premeditated but when the scene presented itself to me it appealed to me taste. Also it left an impression of an image that someday I would love to make !

My Best Regards to All,
Das
A big picture which contains some smaller ones
Insects and caterpillars make very interesting artworks out of Saal leaves .. This one looked like a alien's side profile to me .. I wanted to keep the background light spots not touching the outline of the leaf but the angle of the sun was not helping me in that regard .. I would like to retry some compositions again with this subject :)
I hope the three poles make the title obvious ! Although the concrete poles are not desirable for me but the it created a mood and setting that was appealing !

The senior-most citizen of Mysore ..
Bursting clouds
The way these grasses are living on these rocks that it reminded me the lives of people in modern metropolis :)
Although this is not much of a creative image but to me it's evoking this thought of the spirit of life .. Many people have created remarkable images on this thought so this is just another take from my point of view.

Converted this mono using silver-fx ! Loved the milk like appearance of the water after creative increase of contrast !
This is actually a color image! I didn't convert it to monochrome bcos the RAW histogram was already almost greyscale :) I have applied a little blur to emphasize the feel of a scene from dream.

I wanted to remove the 3D depth of this scene as much as possible to make it look more 2D so I have processed it this way. I liked the fur textured bg and how it supports the gaur's horn as a canvas.

note: no ps filters are used here, just tow blended layers, curves and B/W coversion
I see it this way .. I would love to know your views :)

I hope captive animal images are permitted on CNP else please intimate me and I will remove it. Of course the insect is not captive :)
This ant was in this pose for sometime .. don't know why may be was trying the sense chemical signals in the air ... but it looked like as if it is seeking the blessings from the higher power :D ... it was on the trunk of a tree in our garden ... so I had to shoot it from top down so the bg here is the ground below ;)
When I saw this jungle myna sitting on this beautiful looking thorny branch I could visualize the high key bg will work here well so pushed the exposure compensation to +2 for this image ... increased the saturation in PS to make it more dramatic and painting like ... would love to know your views :)

Meaning lies in the mind ... different person may have different point of view to this image ... my vision is - a person from a balcony looking at the flowing colors of the horizon behind a hill ... somehow I feel this person as a small boy who is mesmerized by the beauty of the liquid colors in the sky ...

I have flipped the original image horizontally to make a futuristic facing ... pls tell me what do you feel ...
