Routes of Life
Dead logs are in my watch list. On one of the logs in Corbett NP, I found this pattern interesting created by insects. It looks that insects are from Greek :). By looking closely - insects are born and died in that small space of wood. It's a colour image.

"Roots of Life" - Nice title there Shankar. Wish the log had just those "routes of life". The natural horizontal slits seem to interfere with visual flow - but then it is nature.

Until and unless mentioned explicitly - one can easily think that its a mono image. "Lines of life" as i want to call it.
