Development for Humans is Distraction for Nature...
As everyone is behind developing the country no one is thinking about the effect of it on Environment. Cutting down trees for more space, polluted water is discharged into water bodies and running big industries also cause Air Pollution. I made this image few year ago at Sukhna Dam near my hometown, when I first visited this place it was full of life. Bird life here was in huge amount, as the habitat is ideal for water fowls. Many migratory birds choose this Dam for spending winter season to escape the bad condition of there native place & also for feeding. Recently I visited this place and the picture was more horrible the amount of birds has declined.

several things work for me to convey. the sketch like quality and tones, the bird being there in form and could just disappear next time we see the picture, the strong presence of the smoke stack, the dark menacing BG seems to be ready to engulf the river.
strong image. thanks for sharing

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside

Impactful… the irony of it is that the evil elements have been captured aesthetically! If only we had not brought it down to this and had left some space for other species… this image would have conveyed harmony!! Irony again!
