Reflection of the Future
Somewhere in the future, someone will come from a far away planet and see the way we, humans, have destroyed our home. They will see how we mistreated mother nature and how we never rectified our mistakes, being the reason for our very own downfall.. The Human species will be disgraced all around the universe. What we should realise is, mother nature will repair herself - flowers will blossom, grass will grow, water will flow and ice caps will re-freeze; the only thing in question is, will we allow her to do that in our presence, or will we wait for her to wipe out every last human before she starts her grand restoration. The choice is ours, but for now, the latter is what seems likely.

This image was taken at Juda Ka Talao during my trek to Kedarkantha peak. The image has been taken at 10mm about 5cms away from the pond. i have rotated the image 180 degrees to make the water look likt the sky above the reflection of trees. The designs in the ater looked like the milky way while the insects resemble the aliens I have mentioned above. Hope you like it, and please critique :)

Noble thoughts there Daanish. Being part of the same eco-system (earth) it really pains to know we are eliminating other creations in mother nature and we deserve what is in store for us. At the next level of abstraction, as an alien in another planet looking at earth it might look like an interesting study about the changes and time. At the next level of abstraction taking universe into consideration (now as a critic I don't have a place), I simply don't understand, I give up..

We claim to be the most intelligent, but, are we?
Good thoughts and a good image. Thanks for sharing.
