Branches of Life
During my visit to Bharatpur last month, i was very focused on not making images of Birds (any subject for that matter ) against clean background or full frame etc. Some of my visualisation was with regard to Habitat, Interaction between species, Abstract presentation and Compositions.
The above one "according to me" is my attempt for Abstract presentation. I have similar images of other birds and subjects too. This kind of execution gives a sort of 4th Dimension to the nature photography which i would like to call as "Abstractism in Nature".
Over the coming days i shall post some of the images made under category 3 and 4 above.
Would love to know your thoughts on this.
Please feel free to write a line or two regarding this attempt and also comments in improving it.

Good one Shiva. Yes a little boost in Contrast ought to improve this even better. Other than that this is a very brave attempt at getting a unique picture

This image is much too my taste as well Shiva. Very very nice way to see the subject and very well executed too. I have seen a few photographers in Bharatpur turning away from subjects thinking the light is bad, and then saw Ganesh positioning himself in the same place and make some images with immense visual impact. Truly it all depends on the art of seeing and this image in my honest opinion has done justice. Every person has a different perception and so there is no point in making a futile attempt in mentioning this could have been done or that could have done unless some very fine points are missed. Nothing in my eyes are missing in this image.

Shiv, the ladder like branch and posture of the bird gives this image a graphic feel. I like the high key background too. I tend to think brightness is a bit more and contours of the bird seem to merge with the background. I would experiment with slightly cutting the mid tones a bit which in turn may affect the abstractness however. You may need to experiment a bit with that. I love this one a **lot more ** than a nice portrait of the same bird in good light in a nice green background :) Thanks for sharing..
