Head ON
Just back from Bharathpur. The place is nothing short of being Magical. And it in a way inspires you to do much more, so you do justice to this place. I never had an opportunity to make head on shots of birds flying towards me, not until this Red Throated Fly catcher we were photographing suddenly decided to take a different perch, luckily I was ready and waiting, and managed to get it spot on. As always there are a lot of images to process and only 24 hrs in a day. But I am excited on digging into the Avian paradise I saw and captured on my sensor.

Nice image Sriharsha... what makes the image for me is the difference in the feel that the deadly static branch and the highly moving wings of the bird! They are of so much contrastingly different feel and as they both are visually very nearer to one another in the image, it is giving a very unique feel to the eyes...For my taste the vast space left all around adds well.... Thanks for sharing....
