I am stealing VMR's title here :) (VMR's egrets image post here on CNP long back).

I made this couple of weeks back from tip of Kodachadri mountain in Western Ghats of India. Black eagle flight over jungles of Western Ghats. Thanks for your views..

HOHO! You made such a graceful eagle look so tiny in front of Kodachadris! Sheer scale of the mountain and the expanse of nature is well portrayed here Ganesh! The visualization is simply mind boggling. Look at the sharpness of this bird!

Goodness gracious...this will be in my memory for a very long time! Would love to know the tools you used here :-) mainly because of the sharpness that's being rendered and the W I D E perspective!

No focus point can pick this so small in the frame, since you use a smaller aperture the trees in the bg are fairly sharp. I would have gone for this one without the border. I wonder how many fresh perspectives this mind can conjure, it has been a very learning day for me on CNP today.

Dear Ganesh, we are so used to seeing a white bird against the forest bg, and here we have a black bird against this bg. I feel this works even better than a white one. This is an outstanding perspective, outstanding concept and performance.

Lovely image yet again. I would agree with VMR on the border here. Its dominating the frame and esp when the subject in the frame is so small and of the same color as the frame. I think a smaller or no frame would do justice on this image

I like the DOF here Ganesh. Though the bird stands out still feel the size of the bird is a bit small.
Recently i came across an amazing albatross flight image in NPN. Sharing the link for the image here.

I liked the size of the bird in this image combined with the DOF.
Looks like flight images made at 100 to 200mm focal length gives a good opportunity for better DOF and if the subject also happens to be big in the frame the associated perspective and impact also seems to be high.

Simply magnificent, Ganesh. More than a creation of art to be dissected and critiqued, this, to me, is an image that portrays the scale of nature on a lavish canvas, and is to be just savoured and enjoyed. Reminds me of those spectacular shots of the golden eagle in the Planet Earth series on the Discovery Channel.
