At waters edge
I was always looking at the situation wherein the waters edge is so still and the stream continues to run, to visually depict this I used this image of the still water and bringing the elements of nature like leaves to anchor still waters and higher in the frame the motion of water adding to the dual dynamism of the stream system in forests.

I think the compo works very well. Tha yellow leaf is an anchor, the rock edge is a curve and leads the eye into the upper portion. There is also a line between the yellow leaf below and in the midframe which helps. Wonder if you used a polariser as well ?

Wonderful effort.

Yes the image definitely has a dual nature and it works very well in combining the stillness with the turbulence. As you said the leaf inside the still water adds to mood of the image. A well seen image sir. Duality at its best here

Hi VMR
The shot is a tranqualiser! I love the way water looks in the lower side. There is a bulge which is almost 3-D, or.. resembling convex miniscus of mercury.

Fantastic foreground here VMR, love the beautiful sky reflection from the very still surface of the water. Those two leaves there add a lot. I think slightly opening up the shadow a bit at the top of the frame would add further to the image. Thanks for sharing..

Fantastic image VMR. The composition has worked very well. Wish the dynamic range was high showing the details in the shadow area.
