Its Spring Time
This image was taken at Hebbal Lake, Bangalore on last Sunday morning. The overall bird activity was on a lower end due to high summer temperatures due to which the flowers n fruits in the park had almost dried off. When i was sitting on the bund and admiring a Purple moorhen having its heavy morning breakfast, i happend to notice this Marsh Harrier flying on the lake looking for its share of breakfast. Far across the lake i could notice a patch of very colourful trees, so positioned my camera towards this patch and waited for the harrier to turn and come back head on.

I waited to make an image of it landing with its wing open against this backdrop but the harrier didnt obilige :(

Intentional centre composition - Unfortunately couldn't avoid or feel like cropping the leaves on the far right of the frame.

Lovely image Shiv ! The muted background makes this image for me. Personally I tend to love this kind of backgrounds more than clear mono-toned ones - may be off late :) I think those few leaves on the right edges can be cropped to add further to the image ? Thanks for sharing..

Nice image Shiva. The BG makes this image for me. If printed on a matte paper would create a better image. I would prefer to crop the leaves on the right of the frame to get a tighter composition.

This a very nice image, but my eyes are looking for a frame where the bird actually comes down from the top left of the frame. A little unconventional may be, but thot that might make it look interesting.

Crispness of the birds with muted BG trees makes this image. Pleasent.
