Waiting to Explode
Hello All,

This is a common flower and unfortunately I do not know its ID. The flower is pink in colour and looks like porcupine :) In this composition, I placed its bud in the foreground and the flower in the background. For curiosity I converted this to BW and it caught my attention. Thanks for looking.

regards,
Madhav

I wonder how a b/w conversion changes the way we look at an image, very interestingly done. I would love more tonality in the image.

This has a wonderful effect Madhav! The decision of going monochrome is perfect! Couple of minor things if taken care would improve the feel further - The lower most bud uncropped, and either increase a few pixels on the left or crop a few pixels on the right. As is the frame is not fully balanced. Full marks for your visualization. Thanks for sharing!

My god, this is so beautiful. The thumbnail does not justice to this image. Perfect for B&W INO. Liked the light and shadow regions in the FG elements. Personally, I don't mind the centered placement but might wish for bit more room towards the bottom of the frame.
