A nice attempt the shallow depth of field works. I would love to see some selective lighting rather than flat lighting

Nice shallow DOF. The OOF streaks look like brush strokes of a painting. Lovely bokeh to go with !
Wish the in-focus streaks were sharper.

Beautiful effect. I love it, few sharp strands gets your attention.

@VMR: Sir the sun was directly over my head, so no room for sidelighting or backlight .. definitely will try to play with light next time..
@Kaushik: it was a little windy, and no tripod as well.. so it was a little tough to get it sharp..
