Very interesting image Adithya ! How often we attempt at such harsh lighting ? Nice use of harsh reflections and contrasting darker subject. I would suggest considering lowering the exposure a bit so that those dehildagons are not completely washed out. Sharper rendition of the damselfly would have further added to it. TFS..

Very nice one Adithya! It looks to me as if it were a stage show and this guy/gal is standing at the edge of the stage in front of thousands of audience with all huge lights focused on him/her!....I would have called it - "On the Nature's Stage" OR "The celebrity" ! ;) Just my wild imaginations! :D Thanks for sharing this...

interesting image....still lowered aperture would have rendered the bokeh more softer and could have avoided the octagonal shapes in the bg...i guess mono chrome also would go well here....

Ganesh, Ashwini,Praveen thanx so much for the suggestions .
@Ganesh -Yes I should have chose one stop lower exposure.
@Ashwini - Sometimes I get title for my images while shooting itself. Usually they will be good ( atleat to my taste) . But when I search for a good title while posting the image to a forum like this I struggle to give proper title ( like this one)
@Praveen - I have shot this at f 7.1. I could have avoided the octagonal shape by chosing a lower angle. But I felt this image more interesting. i tried to convert it into monochrome, but I felt that lacks contrast and makes image dull.

I agree with Praveen. You should have opened the aperture full to avoide bokeh effect with blade patterns

First time I saw this - I was impressed. Super image this, Adithya. Had the damsel fly been sharper and if you had composed it off-center, it would have been a splendid image. Nevertheless super attempt this. Oh BTW, I love those "doughnuts" in the background. Looks like ornaments!
