- Man's Mind -
Being a big fan of Simpalistic compositions and Abstract Nature images - i always try to relate my images ( or try to make images if not succeed ) reflecting human mindset.
For me when i see through view-finder or when i look at my prints i need to get words which describe a mental feeling.

Today evening when i was holding a 12x18 print of this image in my hand all that the image had to say was what i have written in the Image Title.

The ripples - The reflection - The uni-directional flow everything converges to a Man's Thoughts according to me.

Would love to know your comments on the same.

Shiv, Nice ripples here. Like you mentioned may be it's best seen on large prints. Is it grayscale or colour? BTW a nice analogy to human mind.

"Is it color or grayscale?"
Exactly the same question my mom asked me when she saw the print. Its actually a color image - you can see a small green grass blade on top line of the image.
Full frame image on Canon 40D + 300F2.8 L IS + 2X taken on a cloudy morning at TGHalli.

Very well seen and executed image Shiv. I liked the feel of it. The print would do more justice I believe... Thanks for sharing.

Shiv, the diagonal ripples and reflection of the sky add movement and intrigue to this image. Very well executed. Probably, the grass blade need not have been there, IMO.
TFS.

Beauty man! I love the diagonal placement of the ripples in the frame. I am sure it will look one heck of image in print. The small twig in the top left could have been cloned off IMO, it breaks the smooth flow of the image.

Kind of like the metallic reflections here Shiv. I think brighter tonal ranges give this image a unique feel. I did try some thing similar a few months ago which is here. Thanks for sharing..

Woow, hard to believe these are waves in water, Shiv! At first I thought it to be a rock face! Beautifully done.
