Bugs on a leaf
The credit for this image goes to my wife Anusha .She gave me the idea of using the led lights to make this image.

We have used 2 white lights from the bottom and a blue light from the top to illuminate the bugs. Shot using 18-55mm lens @ 45mm. Camera Canon 350D.

Would love to know your views.

Very beatuful execution Adithya. Good choice to go with multiple light source. Probably one on the bottom would have sufficed instead of two.
The light on the top is really good and good team effort :)
Probably next time i suggest you to play around with side lighting to create some shadow effect ( Refer Ganesh's blog on shadows in macro )

So finally she is also into the field! :)
A fine image here Anusha. From the composition perspective, I would have placed the bugs a bit more to the left. The green veins of the leaf are adding well. Overall a well thought and nicely executed image...
Thanks for sharing...

Nice thinking and execution Aditya. The shape of the leaf looks lovely too.
Might agree with Shiva regarding using just one light from below for this frame.

Very nice attempt to induce color in the frame. I would go with warm or naturally occuring shades at the best. The comtrasting warm and blue leads to the surreal. I think there is some burning which is visible before the bugs.
