2000 pixels of life!
..halfway along the hills you suddenly realize that you are not there just for the snow-clad views of the world’s highest mountains, but you are also looking for something you did not know you were looking for in the first place....It’s the humbleness which dawns on you when you are surrounded by the mighty Himalayas and the reassurance in your faith when you realize there is still life ticking in you when it could have been snuffed out in a second...

I consciously zoomed out for this picture to include the Snow capped mountains in the BG to emphasize on the dominance of these life givers, we see in the Himalayas.

Also for people who have not yet seen my 3 min video on Ladakh, I have included the link below. Hope you like it :)

Excellent image Harsha! Loved the feel of the vastness and the hint of snow on the mountains. Not sure about the thin strip of dark clouds at the top of the frame. A well made image. Thanks for sharing.... Enjoying the fantastic images from Ladakh... m sure this is just the beginning! :) Keep them rolling...

Lovely presentation of scale, Sriharsha. i liked the blue haze on the mountains and it adds to your theme of life. I agree with Ashwin: smal strip of clouds at the top could be cropped. Simple, but effective presentation. TFS.

Harsha - am a firm believer of the fact in nature photography that small is beautiful. After having got saturated with seeing feathercounting closeup portraits of this beauty from the cold desert - this one is def a very good reliever.
What makes this image stand out for me is the composition and inclusion of the distant mountains and the sky.
Beautifully presented image.
