I have done a blunder here and please forgive for this one! :( Instead of submitting the comment I pressed the submit button of the rating, which by default shows rating as '1'. I am feeling very bad as I cannot change it by any means. So please ignore the rating and please forgive by carelessness :( :(

its ok Ashwini.....y i do not write much in description is that i have a belief, that the photograph should talk for it self.....the struggle the photographer made to create the image is of very less importance..same is the case of the equipment used...also the exif details...mainly in this forum...coz the picture is more important than the photographer here in cnp...
regarding the tile....'pictorialism' is an old movement during the late 1800 and early 1900....even though this pic is not the best example of pictorialism movement.... concept of pictorialism has been used here...the subject is of less importance here...the feel, quality of light ,composition ,mood etc is more important than the subject....the picture has an impressionistic quality... like a painting....i used light to define space here....i could have opened up the shadow area to give more feel of space...but i dint want it...i wanted to decrease the space...i used the highlight tone and middle tome to define open space...we can write lot of prose like this.. ....photography has a language......the more we know this language the more we can read the picture...

Praveen, I liked your approach & philosophy towards Photography. All art media & their artists have their own languages to express.
