At the horizon
A old picture, I made in Nov 09. This was made in Maidanahalli when we were returning to the Forest Bunglow late in the evening when the light was low. The Black Buck wasnt too far away, by conventional standards but I decided to stick to a lower focal length to minimize camera shake and also to include as much of the dramatic sky as possible. The tiny Buck looking into the vastness seemed to strike a chord for my tastes. I had to kick up the ISO as expected to get a decent shutter speed. But I kinda liked the noise resulting out of it which somehow seems to add to the mood of the scene.
Would love to hear the views.

Thanks for looking

Nice composition here Harsha. I think better definition and reduction of chroma noise would have added a lot. But then I know in what lighting conditions you made this that day.. Thanks for sharing..

The noise is way too much and takes away the punch of the image.

H,
This works for me! But not from the usual distance but from a little far. The subtle structure of the black buck against the vast dramatic sky combined with the clouds is giving a nice feel...
