Mist & Wolf

Mist & Wolf
Velavadar for many reasons would remain in my memory for a long time. This is where I saw my first wolf. The wolves were busy on a kill and we were at least some 150 metres away. However the first few shots in the early morning mist did not go that bad, this being one . Hope you like it.

Will look fabulous on a canvas. Nice conversion to B&W, I guess trees faded on left and right edges due to mist. Slightly better definition of trees would further added I guess. Probably the best of your image I have seen so far. Thanks for sharing Nilanjan..

Very nostalgia effect. Truly one of you best.

To be honest Ganesh, a fading was there due to mist all over, selective processing helped bring out the wolf and the lower part of the tree's. I too think fading got a bit too apparent, a bit more gradual would have been ideal for me but could not control it so well. I am working on it and should be able to think of something in a few days. Thanks everyone again for the encouraging words. Am learning a few things on black n white conversion and red, orange, yellow and green filters too.

When I saw the thumbnail the first thing that came to my mind...this is one of your best images that I have seen. Clearly cut above the rest . The B&W works very well and I like the high key presentation . Agree with Ganesh's comments on this being on canvas !

Best Regards

Your best pic surely ! Love the B&W and the muted tree edges. Agree with Ganesh about this being on canvas.

Best Regards

Take my word this image will make waves in competitions and generate lot of debate as well. I must say your imagery has traveled a long way after looking at this image, you have struck everything right on this one. Wall art maybe but collectors item certainly.
