If you ask me Saurabh the amount of black space is keeping a balance with the blue sky and the the tone of the snow mountains ??? Just stunning. I just love your images and way you make me feel about them. One of the best landscapes I have seen in recent times. Where is this may I know plz ?

Thank you very much Pravinsir & Nilanjansir for your kind comments on this image…
I certainly wanted to make balance between the blue sky & black shaded portion, and during processing this image I felt the same confusion, so went the way I clicked it. And I actually wanted somebody to comment on this. But I will definitely give a second thought on reducing the black portion from the bottom.
@ Nilanjansir,
Last year, during summer vacation I went for a track to “Brigu Lake” which is at 14800 ft altitude neat ‘Rohtang pass-The way to Ladak. We started our track from Manali town and it took 7 days to be at Brigu. I took this image on the way to Brigu Lake.
Thanks & Regards

it would be interesting to crop both top and bottom, get a wider perspective on snow mountain. To me mountain would get the right attention beneath blue and above black if both are reduced.
BTW, have you tried multiple images spanning left to right. stich them and make a huge panorama?

Great simple lines in this lovely landscape, I would love to play around the Vibrance to pop up the snow a little more. I would personally feel a gradient opening of the black space would work better.

Excellent image Saurabh. What makes this image different for me the contrasting black and blue and a strip snow in between. Black for me seem to nicely balance the image in this case. For that reason I would retain it as is. Thanks for sharing..

great complimentary tones here, saurabh. the way light falls, seems to me very mystical and out of this world.

Nice contrasting colors here.
May be you could have tried for a wider shot with a bit less of black in the bottom.
