Forest Fires?
Not really a forest fire;-) I tried here to create an impression of that. Captured this image at Ramanagara. In this image, I used the warmth of the early morning sky and OOF tall grass in FG to give a feel of smoke due to forest fire (hillock in the BG). Added grain to the sky and Gaussian blur to the hillock. Would love to know your views.

Nice one Rameshji... Liked the feel of the flames. But for my taste I would prefer sharper rendition of the edges of hillock. The grain in the sky and in the overall image is adding well. Nice one over all. Liked it.

Thanks Ashwini for your views. Appreciate that. The blur was to accentuate the feel of looking through fire/smoke as edges tend to glimmer. I will post the image with sharp edges of the hillock in the 'Illustration Forum" for your consideration.

Ramesh

Ramesh, grain and sepia tone really makes the image for me. The tree on left adds a lot but not sue about the pointed stone on the right. May be a square crop would further add ? Thanks for sharing..
