Image made at the 'first basin' of Cataract Gorge, Launceston, Tasmania.

Had to use the same title for similar image on my site http://www.bharathphotos.com/main.php?categoryId=2 as I could not differentiate both much (but personally kind of liked the tighter composition more). All your views/comments are most welcome. Due to relocation, I am yet to catch up with the actions that has been going on CNP.

Wow, nice to see one on CNP from down under, I liked the placement of the waterfall and the tree, rocks makes it interesting. I wonder how the twilight orange light lighting up the water with the waterfall tucked away as it is would make a more impactful image. Keep posting more I would love to do a dedicated Aussie trip.

Thank you VMR sir. I did shoot this image during during/post sunset conditions but orange (or other twilight) colors did not reach this part of the location. It would be great if you come here, even I need company for photo shoots :)

Position of waterfall, tree and rocks has made this image. Not sure how it looks if more of rocks on top is included cutting down the water below and vice versa. and as VMR pointed nice to see images form that part of the world on CNP.

I tend to agree with you Bharath about the tighter one being more likable (not that this one isn't; it is one very fine image in its own right, but given the fact that you have another composition I liked it better). I like the milky flow and the lovely reflections. In the tighter frame, the branches on right balance the image and the rock textures are prominent which add more to the feel.

These are my feelings based on my viewing and interpretation. I'm a novice unlike others, s please pardon me if others differ.

Thanks Dinesh and Kumar. Appreciate your time and Kumar, all of us are here to give/get feedback. So what matters is your views about the image and for this particular one, it matches exactly with mine :), cheers.
