A Lonely Morning Walk OR Morning Melody
Some typical situation in Nature photography where it is difficult to express what you see and feel in the form of pixels. One of those mornings when i enjoyed seeing and enjoying nature than making images.

Somehow at that very moment i felt how i wish i was this pachyderm who could roam around freely doing nothing in this open vast grassland. No worries, No tension, just live the life as it comes.

One of my personal favorite images from my trip to Corbet.

Another version that i have posted in the Illustration form which I tried to see if a mono color can bring in some more feel into the image. Personally I would stick to the tones in the color image.

I like the mono image Shivakumar..Feels like an excerpt from Malgudi days stories.
I would prefer to see few pixels cropped from the rt side.. The trees elephant and the mountains in the backdrop complete the picture

Difficult choice between the mono and color versions. I will just stick to commenting on the color version here. Love the pale pink of the sky and the mild hues of the distant mountains. A scene which easily makes you want to be out in the open. How abt opening up the elephant a tad?
And a bigger image would be KICK ASS

Love the subtle poetic nuances of colors in upper half of the image and also layers of forest curves. I am not sure whether lowering mid tone contrast on lower middle would add further. Thanks for sharing Shiv..

I straight away liked the monochrome version Shiv. That has an amazing mood in it. In this frame for me the green of the grass is not adding well to the mood created by the distant misty hills and the beautiful graded sky. Very wise use of GND filter I feel (if u have used). The monotone conveys the mood very well here. In the monotone I would prefer to lower the contrast a little bit in the central portion of the frame. or opening the dark part of the elephant would also do. Just my taste. :) Lovely frame.

Prefer the colour version more. The elephant takes all the attention in the BnW version and some of the mood is lost that way, for me..
