Fleeting Glimpse
This was a missed opportunity, never intended a blurred shot but just had 2 secs to aim and shoot from a moving vehicle. Shot 3 frames, 3rd one was was sharp with panning effect but only the hind legs was in focus, the remaining part was covered by the lantana :(
Everyone dismissed this shot saying wish it was sharp, but I somehow liked this, specially the circular motion effect depicting a wheel on its hind leg. This image for me shows the agility and speed of these lovely cats.
Cloned right side of frame to include tip of tail that was clipped, cropped for composition, levels, saturation and sharpening only.

I would gladly save this one Abhijit. Agree with your observation on circular motion. Streak passing through the eye is a simple nit but then the 3d feel of it make me think that it should make a nice print on a canvas media. I would play be levels just a bit to increase the emphasis on the leopard and also would reduce the noise. I would say it is relatively easy to make images of leopard sitting on a branch but not this one - even though it wasn't intended.

I am glad you missed orelse we would have one more leopard image. This has turned out very artistic, reinforcing my belief that pans work well where there contrasting colors in the frame.

Very interesting one this is. Nice abstract feel to the image and the mind can easily comprehend what is going on there also. Agree with you and others about the circular motion that it adds well to the image. Print it on a rough/textured surface and it would look awesome...
