Some beautiful lighting ! The translucent glow in the snail looks lovely. IMHO, the left 1/3-rds could be done away with (cropped off), since it is more distracting and not offering much to the composition.
very interesting play of light here, adithya. love the snail in the spotlight and those specks of red. i too think of cropping in to portrait, excluding left blur twig and also some glow on the right (but not 'that' another you talked about).
Hey Adithya, I was referring to just crop off the left section until the left-most blur-and-lit twig is removed. The rest of the image could be presented as it is (or with few minor variations). The hazy glow emanating from the URC is very interesting & should be a part of this image IMO.
This is really well executed Adithya! Instead of cropping the left brighter portion, how about burning that region a bit and make it little darker? That may help in retaining the same proportion of the subject in the frame and avoid the distracting bright region as well. May be worth giving a try.
