Tranquil
Finding a non-windy corner at Kaas is not easy. I managed to find one and preferred this small bunch of flowers for foreground. The cloudy weather through out made up to look forward for the sky and I sat back and enjoyed this tranquil moment.

Very tranquil indeed VMR. Love those rich tones of reflections off stream. Being there right next you I can relate to your feeling there.

Kaas taught me a lots of new lessons in photography challenges of landscape photography in particular (if not answers lots of new questions). The grandeur landscape in front of eyes easily leaves an strong impression on our mind. I think we suffer from limitation of the medium to portray those feelings. Unlike wildlife images where the focus
is concentrated on a few pixels within the the frame here in landscape every square inch adds a little in that infinite space to create a lasting impression on our minds. How will we compress this infinite grandeur into 1024x728 pixels ? A print will probably help not I think it is still very difficult. I am not suprised why lots of serious landscape photographers still swear by 4x5 or larger formats..

An excellent image sir. Just fell in love with those tones! Agree that a larger print would do more justice to this one for sure. You may consider cloning the dust spot in the sky. I am enjoying the images of Kaas by yourself and Ganesh. Thanks for sharing.

Nice use of narrow stream, leading the eyes into the vast green-lands.
Liked the blues (in reflection) in the stream.

This is breathtakingly beautiful! The first thought that came to my mind when I looked at this scape is that it looked like a fairy tale land! I think, the strength of this image is its composition. I agree with the others that the true potential of this image can only be understood in a large-size print.

Beautifully done. Finding a non-windy corner at Kaas is indeed difficult. I love the tones and specially the very rich reflection of sky.
