I forgot to write about, The orange color in the bottom right corner is due to the light of the village called “Navaagam’. This was around 2.5 km away from the sea coast where this temple was situated in a lonely area, where we stayed for 2 nights with our tents and all.
Super effort Saurabh. I have done such images and I know the effort required to get it right. Ofcourse I did a multiple exposure on a digital and hence was much easier. Doing it on film in a single shot is something else. I love the way the temple adds a sense of perspective to the frame. The temple is the only stationary subject in this frame and the fluttering flags gives an indication of the windy conditions you would have had on the night. And the orange and blue colors compliment each other well here.
This is really excellent Saurabh! The colors in the frame are really complementing to each other so they give a very nice feel. The motion blur caused by the flags give another dimension to the already well made image....
I was waiting for such an image for a while. You made my day. The creativity with the subject and the motif is superb. The image on a film is akin to "working blind" in today's digital age and hats off to you for pulling this off. My .2 cent worth (my briain works at 10%) is that the image looks a tad oversharpned and some color noise in the bg is evident. Again with film that is a completely different story so does not detract from your superb effort. Well done!
Very creative image Saurabh. Love those concentric circle. My only wish being you had some natural God made foreground subjects to anchor the image than those man made buildings for God
A very well visualised shot and nicely effected to, I like the full circle here and also the exposure is not tampered with. I dont mind the human element here after humans are a significant part of nature.
