Thank you very much for the nice words on this image I do have few more compositions of this bird in the same situation. In my previous post bird is not exactly looking up at me but it has twisted its head for preening and looks like it is looking up. Eye contact is still missing

Very unique indeed !
This one's my favourite amongst the ones you've posted. The patterns on sand spread out in the frame + the trail left behind by the bird (running across the diagonal) makes this special. To top it off, you've got some gorgeous lighting as well !

Liked the image for its textures. I am a fan of your earlier 'aerial perspective' shot. hence no new thrill in the perspective of this image but the mud texture and the way the bird is standing out makes the image for me.
