The Gainsayer
When you are at the crossroads and survival is the need of the hour, decisions are made only by being fearless and questioning the reality and challenges of life. Taking the bull by its horns needs guts but meandering through these rocky mountains needs character!

This Tibetian Ibex was my gainsayer of the day.

Feeling nostalgic about THE mountains. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance for viewing.

Thought provoking image.. The placement of Ibex is just rt, even the position of hind leg is just perfect, makes me wonder on the journey, destination where this animal is heading to.... I feel like seeing a similar image with more of the rocky mountain..
Thanks for sharing :)

How comfortable it looks in such a terrain, merges so well with the habitat. I love the tones of the rocks too. Rest is already said by Praveen, u rock Pramod, one, on the rocks for u from me for this image :)

Beautiful habitat shot Pramod, loved the placement.
My first thoughts were, how did the ibex get here? It must have been a real treat watching them navigate on these rocks
do u have a vertical frame with a similar placement?

I like the texture and scale here Pramod. I think reducing the contrast a little bit will further add to the real life feeling and depth. Should go well on a canvas..

if ibex is absent, its difficult to imagine about size of rock pattern..... in that sense ...a salute to pramodji to present it in exact manner.

OMG Pramod! This is gorgeous. I am totally at awe with this image man. What impresses me even more are the thoughts behind the image. Again a masterpiece worth nothing less than a center page spread. The composition and the framing of the habitat with the ibex is what captures the magic IMO

Brilliant image. Bowled over by its impact. I find the placement of the Ibex to be just perfect. Excellent visualization and execution.

just right for my taste Pramod, wonderful creation. I am sure you would have different compositions of the scene. May we see them?

Nice image Pramod. For my eyes, lesser color separation between the Ibex and the rock makes it a bit difficult to get the emphasis - just my view.

Great sense of scale and drama here, Pramod! Love the shapes and the texture of the rocks, too! Putting myself in the ibex's shoes makes me very jittery indeed!
It would be very interesting to see a frame with much more space below the ibex, to show the heights from which the plucky animal can plunge if it puts a hoof wrong. That could render an even more terrifying perspective to this superb image.
Thanks for sharing this.

great image here, pramod. liked the sense of scale and the way ibex merges with texture of rocks. as ganesh said, i find contrast as well as saturation little on the higher side, maybe thats just me. and yes, shifting ibex above will add more drama ...

regards.

Thanks all for your views.

@Ganesh - thanks a ton for that critique. I reduced the contrast and as you said the image really pops. This is what is learning from the master is.
@RD - Thanks for that, indeed there are more compositions, will share it some time in future for sure :)
@Rajesh - Thanks for your views. For me, the whole point is to show how well the Ibex blends so well with it's habitat.
@Santosh and Nevilji - I do have such images too, will share it sometime :)
