Cluttered with life
When I first saw the setting I hated it. I wished the Grey headed fish eagle had perched on a less cluttered and nicely lit tree close to the present perch. But the more I saw it, the more I started to like it. There are instances in life when you know you have nailed the shot the minute you have pressed the shutter. While there are other instances when you need a bit of re evaluation to gauge the artistic merit of an image. I guess this is one of such.

I liked the image for the way the eagle materializes to life in an otherwise barren clutter. I tried the best possible to isolate the clutter and have the eagle placed in the thick of it to signify the mood to the image.

Cloned out a rogue twig to keep the frame balanced

Thanks for looking

Awesome shot Harsha, the clutter really helps the image.
I feel a little less sharpening on the branches would help.

Exactly the state of my mind here in Karwar, cluttered with all the administrative work try to think about creative processes. Love this poignant image here.
