Nirlep, I do not mind the grains here at all, tell me were the grains / noise enhanced during scanning ? I have never used the film that you have mentioned here, does it normally generate so much of grains ? Very interesting, would love to know the reasons for choosing this particular film you know. I can see some faint outlines of the mountains right in the middle and would have personally wanted it to be a little more prominent and defined.

Nirlep, I like the grains in the image..It kinda gives me a feel of snow fall in the image... My eye is lead to the center of the frame by the mountains on either sides of the frame, and it rests there allowing me to imagine things which would exist there...!! and i like it :)

Hi Nilanjan, Adithya,
Thanks for your critique and comments. Nilanjan you've rightly pointed out regarding prominence of mountain in the middle. I think it will bond the left and the right parts of picture in a better way. Grain is the product of two processes. One ; the inherent grain of the film used, two; picked up grain during scanning the film. I decided to keep the grain for it gave the picture a different feel.

The grain is really working very strongly in favor of the image here :-). Saw it on my laptop from office, but now on my mac and am liking it much better.

I like the grains here Nirlep which seem to give depth to the frame - may be slight burning of distant mountain lines would have added to the depth ? Of late I spent a lot of time getting some of those slide grains in my B&W images. It is very tough get those random noises with random structures.
