Radiance in Nature
When the subject is still and simple, thats when one can drop the camera at the place ( not literally ) and spend time presenting it in a different perspective. This is one of such image which is a result of spending and observing a worm on our trekking path. This worm had coiled itself inside its shell and was lying still and i tried to go a bit too close to show the radiating lines and the reflection of sun on the shell - and hence the name Radiance in Nature.

I was attracted to the point about which the worm has coiled & it is amazing to see how tightly packed the place it...
The body segments come together curving in & pack themselves without any gap at all. Just makes me wonder in appreciation - how perfect the creation is...!!!
Lovely details. At first I thought of mentioning that a little more of DOF would render the lines moving outwards from the centre near corners/edges of the frame sharp. But on second thoughts I felt they are all uniformly fading out as they diverge from the point about which they r coiling & hence it was fine enough. Well seen & captured Shiv.

Excellent image Shiv ! Nicely composed too. Yes like those radiant lines. Not sure whether a circular polarizer would have helped you to cut those harsh reflections in the center. I think composing it slightly differently by moving that point of the curl to 1/3rd lower right point might have made it far more dynamic.

Get a big print made and hang it on the wall !

Class image Shiva. It was a treat to see such wonderful creations during our trekking. Point of curl is well emphasized here, but, I do agree with Ganesh about moving it a bit closer to 1/3 strong point.

Especially the macro world is full of patterns of various kinds each one is always there, it is only upto the viewer to translate it, I like the pattern here, if only the tonality was a little more it would be nice, it looks a little flat as it is now.

Shiva, Nice visualisation and beautifully executed. I agree on Circular PL filter usage. It also increses the richness.

lovely Shiva! Must praise your eye here for trying to isolate and capture this beauty. Good that you said its the sun reflecting of the shell, my first impression was that was caused due to a flash. But it does tend to distract the eye a bit.
