Nilanjan,
Many times when I see tree branches in the background of sunny sky I get attracted towards that. When I spend more time with then they create mixed emotions in me. And I try to represent that using photography medium. As we all know, the way we see and still photography works in different way. When we see something our eye works as a video camera, our nose smells, ears hear, we feel the heat/ cold in the atmosphere, most importantly our brain interprets them. When I just try to frame them the resultant image will not represent what I 'wanted to capture'.
So I will and have to try some other ways to depict what I want to represent. Then I try the techniques like zoom burst, oof etc to get what I have in my mind. Personally I want to keep those techniques as part of the image and not the core of the image.
"What is the desired result you are looking for?" To be honest, I don't know. I can say I have an vague idea of it. First the result should please me. It has to be aesthetically, artistically good. It should be capable of grow.
"Do you really think that a completely technique dependent execution could lead to creating an abstract which allows several mind to interpret the image in various ways ? "- For this also I don't know the answer. When you asked about the thoughts I was a little confused about what to write, so I just wrote how I made this image and left the viewer to interpret it.
I remember a question you asked a fellow photographer, "no doubt this is looking different but why did you do it" ? It's very profound question for me also. Why do I do this? Just to make different images? So after that I have been very careful while making the images and repeatedly ask myself "Why do you do this?"
As you know I am poor writer and struggling a lot to express. I want to share some of the images and paintings which I like most and draw inspirations from. Hope they will help to associate with my feelings.
