Without the stone I think the landscape would have been too flat for my taste Ganesh. I felt finding a good foreground to anchor the shot was always a challenge in Kaas. Hence I chose this stone which had the flowering bush grow next to it. Also I was mainly thinking from a video perspective on this trip and I realised that to feel the effect of the panning motion in a flat landscape, I needed to have something close to the camera in the FG, hence I chose this to have the stone skim through the frame from right to left.
