Such a fresh image, sadly we don't get the blue skies, or else Kaas is something which nothing in this world can beat.

Vijay, I have seen lot of pictures from kaas by other people, they had clear nice-rich blue sky in the pic.
I think, at the start of the season and in morning it would always be like this cloudy and misty.
Need to try a different time to visit to see blue skies.

I love your time lapse photography you know Harsha, the one you made in Ladakh and now this one, just brilliant, specially loved your horizontal and also vertical camera movement while creating this time lapse. You guys ( Landscape wizards ) are doing an awesome job. In fact there should be more landscape images here in CNP from you guys.

So small in the frame yet the bee makes the frame giving a sense of scale ! I would like to know your thoughts on the stone. I kind of think it would have worked without the stone there Harsha. What you think ?

Beautiful

Without the stone I think the landscape would have been too flat for my taste Ganesh. I felt finding a good foreground to anchor the shot was always a challenge in Kaas. Hence I chose this stone which had the flowering bush grow next to it. Also I was mainly thinking from a video perspective on this trip and I realised that to feel the effect of the panning motion in a flat landscape, I needed to have something close to the camera in the FG, hence I chose this to have the stone skim through the frame from right to left.

Your timelapse have been joyful Harsha. Great 'fresh' feeling. I wonder what goes in your mind while deciding on and executing a timelapse series.

Its fun trying to visualize from a motion related perspective. But I still have a LONG way to go to achieve the quality standards set by a lot of dedicated TL guys

"In the grand scheme of things... ...nothing is trivial and nothing is uncalled for." How true these lines from you visually corroborated by this image. Sometime back there was a discussion at CNP about B&W and colour. This image speaks colour and how important it is to nature. By putting a small bee there you've put a grand narrative into perspective.
