A different perspective
All of us talk about perspectives of composition and stuff, but this last week when i was flying on an early morning flight to the islands of Andaman i just realized the world can really look beautiful if viewed from above. Am a big sucker for good skies especially fluffy clouds and cirrus patterns, but when viewed from 36000 ft you will see things which you will never get to see from the land below.

Love to know your views and opinion.

Hi Shivakumar,
It's amazing how play of light could be so different high above. Are the tones due to presence of UV? The feeling of vastness and very different tones make it for me.
Thanks for sharing

Love the depth in this image Shiv - the four different layers of clouds in a two dimensional view...

Hope you had a nice trip, looking forward to see more..

Just love the play of light in the distant clouds. Edge lighting is fabulous and B&W conversion justifies the contrast gradations in the image.

Love the tonal gradations Shivakumar. I love flying too especially night time when the lightning lits up the vast cumulonimbus towering clouds , creating this eeirie orangish look. that only eyes can capture..thanks for sharing
