(Un) Realistic minimalism
Made this image today morning.

I stood close to the waters and I saw these grass blades emerge out. Many common compositions that we see on CNP came to my mind. One thing that kept ringing in my mind was " What can I do different with this subject?". Answers came along in few mins:

1. A triptych
2. Black and White
3. Intentionally overexpose the frames in camera.
and most importantly
4. I want to make a minimalistic composition.

(3) was deliberate and definitely NOT FOR THE SAKE OF making it. But, the main reason was - If the scene was exposed properly, then I would NOT have got a seamless integration of 3 elements that I saw in the scene: grass that has emerged out of water surface, its reflection and the meniscus of the water.

Finally, satisfied with the results, I realised I should have this done as a triptych if I have to hang it on the wall. Some day I would love to adorn a HUGE wall with this image and I would love to print this really big !

( Also this is flipped vertically to see the reflection on the top some anti-gravity thoughts here ;-) ) I also wanted the blades to grow as the eyes move along. Hope the image grows in ones mind :)

Let me know your thoughts about this conception and creation.

Brilliant Pramod, the blades have grown so well here. This will look so beautiful in the wall. Tell me one thing, are there softwares or actions or plugins which create triptychs or diptychs ? I would love to know more about this when we meet during the meet.

Wonderfully made triptych PV. Loved the presentation and the overall impact of it. Minimalism is very captivating.
How were it looked if you had selected a less lined image for the first one from the right? (Just like the other two)
What are your thoughts?

Very well seen and executed. A triptych makes a lot of sense and Minimalism is @ its best. I feel a darker background would add much more definition, but may be just me. Thanks for Sharing!
