Was attracted by the texture, tones and natural sculpted effect. Looked like a tree struck by lighting. Have been trying to process the tones to my liking for more than a year now !! Not satisfied with it. C and C welcome

There is a fascinating "vertebral" pattern on the right! was this a fallen log? i wonder how this would look in color - what hues? very interesting sculpture.

@ RD yes I have a closer pic. But, my preference was this . Will try to post that.

@Arati- The tree was bent backwards at 60 degrees to the ground and this this stood out vertically against that back drop. In color this is still almost like this since the "scupltor" part is very light colored wood.

Thanks to your dark room experience you seem to handle tonal ranges extremely well Raj ! I just love the tonal ranges - a beautiful conversion indeed. I think a bit more dof at the top corners would have further added. Thanks for sharing Raj..
