Just cropped to try out the theory that Nilanjanda explained to us... of having a subject and also 1 or 2 anchor points within the frame, such that the viewer doesn't get lost after having seen enough of the subject...
Nilanjanda, I hope I understood what you meant! But i must confess that the actual composition included the entire neelgai also within the frame :)

You have an excellent frame here Kiran. I should have probably said a few more words Kiran, which are yes anchor points are very much photographic requirements, but anchor points themselves are subjects of interest as well :-). They are part of the frame which build up the story or help relate to the mood. I like the way the blue bull has been placed in the frame and diagonal to the lovely shape of the tree, the tree looks like a destination, the crop on the blue bull depicting that the journey has started :-). The entire blue bull would not have perhaps looked as interesting. The frame speaks of a journey. Emotionally strong image, simple but to make something simple is not simple at all :-).

I just love the mood and conversion here Kiran. Not sure whether you could have tried some alternate crops ? Eyes and mind want to see a few more pixels beyond the right border too - may be just me..
