Image Description:: Backlit subjects are one of my favorites in nature photography. The sense of drama that one gets to attach with backlit images is really different. Usage of in-camera meter tends to fool the camera and overexpose the frame resulting in lifeless image. This image was manually exposed, and the thick dark bush in the front of the bird helped me get the dark contrasty background for this image.
