RD, I tend to think Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl or Baryta. Will let you know on which paper it looks better once I make a print :) I am out of stock on those papers now.

Absolutely wonderful shot Ganesh sir.. I really like the warm tone here. It appears to me that color of the focused web strand diffuse from Green to Pink.. may be the prism effect??

Ganshi, I just came back to comment once more, do u have a frame similar to this without the spider ? The web is conclusive enough, was just feeling one without it might be more interesting though, your thoughts buddy ? After seeing this image so many times, I just felt that the darker shade of the spider is competing with the tone in the rest of the image. Suddenly the middle portion of the spider is sticking out buddy, am 100% sure you might have noticed too :-).

Hey Nilanjan, I think out of focus spider gives a needed context here without which it may become yet another dew drops image like this one or this one. I wanted this to be different compared to these earlier two images. On a lighter note, web is its art work, signed at the bottom by itself (out of focus spider) :)

Madhav, yes, it is due to refraction and splitting of light..

Love the color in dew Ganesh! The spider is confusing my taste buds and personally I would agree with Nilanjan that the OOF spider is competing too much for attention with the main subject. May be a smaller spider would have helped, but I guess the spider did not grow up keeping this image in its mind :-D.
Its an amazing creation for sure

I almost dont believe this image - anything i say about it will sound hollow and superfluous... except - So much to learn from you, Ganesh. it is wonderful.

Finding it tough to explain what am going through when am seeing this. Especially the colors gree&pink is just icing on the cake. Probably one of your best spider & web images after the tunnel spider image.
Will def come down to your house to see this on print.

Fascinating image Ganesh! Just love the band of EGB colors due to refraction. Keeping the spider OOF is the right decision and direction of light and your composition made this image! What are your thoughts on OOF dew drops near the pods of the spider?

MAGIC is all I can say. I feel decreasing the dark tone of the body portion of the spider a little bit to make it less pronounced in the image would be soothing to the eyes. What you feel?
