Looking up at a flying bird
This is Kodachadri again. The mountain looks like a face upturned watching flying bird.

It certainly does, Krish! A face with a long sharp nose :) Well seen!

Krishnan, though there is a difference to the size of the face to the tiny bird, a well seen and executed image... Thanks for sharing..

Very Nicely seen. The grass on the 'faceline' adds a lot of interest. Wish the bird were slightly larger in the frame. Thanks for sharing.

This def for me is seeing ( and/or presenting ) differently. I remember seeing this frame on your LCD the day you shot it, but it all lies in the eye to quickly notice the face structure in the rock surface. Totally love the balance of the huge rock ( face ) and the tiny birdie.

I notice Bibhav mentioning "wish the bird were slightly larger" - if at all we had started "our experiment" a bit earlier on that day even that would have been possible - aint it :P

Love the scale difference between the bird and rock. B&W might enhance the mood of this further.

Thanks all !

Yes wish the birdie was a little bigger . Yes Shiva , our idea would have worked well here ! Maybe something to try for later. I need to figure out if I can take my own time between shots or like film, rewind and expose again :-) But, on the Nikons there is away to merge two RAW files, into a third and, in camera. I should try that and report back ...

Honestly I did not see the face while shooting. But I felt there was something in the interrelation of the mountain and the Kestrel, when I took the shot. Then I saw it clearly when I was post processing and adjusted the crop accordingly.

Spot on Arati, it is a kestrel ! Yea, that was one crazy , memorable morning !
