A busy state..
Had gone out for a stroll to old Dhaka. While clicking shots, I looked out for nature here and there but hardly any was provided, nowhere. Finally before heading towards a Mazjid this burnt up tree came by. But somehow it couldn't bring a smile to my face. It was too alien, too human. I came up with this picture which is more of a street shot for me. Haven't gotten to see much of nature lately.

Warm Regards,
Nirvair

Love the grainy feel..pencil like shading..the haunted feel in the image. The spiral nicely adds to the haunted feel giving it a sense of vortex. Very different image.

Nirvair, some more thoughts on this ? I am trying to understand a few things here :-), at times we get bored of creating, many aspects to it, every single image we make does not mean that we can create a new visual, or create something very meaningful out of it, may be due to saturation of ideas or the lack of it, or as it happens mostly that the most creative minds find nothing to create in such a situation. We call this a place or a situation with very low possibilities :-). Now when am imagining you there in a similar situation, this creation tells me that you found a way to come out of boredom, you turned the lens or what ever trick you applied to create this one which allowed you to at least momentarily come out of the thought that here am standing and trying to make an image of a tree. This happens to painters as well, realists suffer while the person who is open to distortions benefits :-). Who said that I need to make an image of a tree just because am standing in front of one ? I can do something without thoughts too, just love the patterns created, or the curves or the contrast or whatever. It might be anything, it still looks new to me and that is enough as a driving force to create ART. This is one of the modern approach towards ART itself. The creator does not fully know what the end result would be, or even why he is making it, he just loves to create and that's all he cares about for the moment. There is a lot of dispute and argument about this kind of work, but actually it is interesting :-). Something like the zero expression theatres, if you have seen one. The art lies in not expressing through acting and voice modulations....initially appears to be hilarious, like two robots in communication :-), but as one learns more about it, you realize they actually do it to show how expressions and feelings have become meaningless to the society which is more attracted towards the other realities. Fantastic no ?? :-). People are just so creative. I loved this image to the core of my heart because I felt your frustration, then your smile and finally your confidence. Love you beta, this is tremendous control over mind. Life is about creating possibilities.....

Mahesh uncle, thanks a lot for the comment, the "sense of vortex" gives a new outlook to it.

Nilanjan uncle, I was walking in the most busiest streets of old Dhaka. Whatever I clicked had a hazy feeling to, very chaotic. After I saw this tree, it sounded very chaotic. Wanted to click this tree just the way I click in the streets of old dhaka. It's so true that I find myself in that situation of being frustrated, and to forget about that, I walk out to click, always looking for nature somewhere in Dhaka. Can hardly say much about this picture, just gives me the feeling of chaos everywhere, and someone stuck in between trying to get out.
Will read about the zero expressing theater, something new again. :-). Learning a lot!

indeed, this perfectly portrays your state of mind, nirvair. whenever i see this image, i feel what you have expressed yourself about, in dhaka ... "someone stuck in between trying to get out". intense 'n moving.

take care.
