Vibrations - Tree Silhouettes - a summer sunset background
Please do share your thoughts on this one.

During Jan, Feb and March of the year, I find the western ghats becomes a very unique, beautiful place to visit. The browns, yellows and oranges, the sunset into the hazy layers of horizon and the occasional sprinkle of rain for only a few seconds, puts my mood into a state of deep introspection.
The wait by my folks there, for the rain ( so coffee flowers bloom). Their dependency, discussion and anticipations about the rain, increases the depths of my introspection .

While i was photographing this, my folks who were walking with me were discussing that it will rain once the early morning mist reduces. We can only guess, but for them its their understanding of nature by virtue of years of what these people, their ancestors, have experienced and understood. This leaves a feeling of an unending search for something... That is what I relate this image to.

For me, this experiment with vibrations is not out of a purist's approach to pre-visualize and create a picture, but is more of an exploration into the understanding pre-visualization itself. Is it possible to create a picture exactly as you pre-visualize? Its a long way loooonnnggg way, but the journey is very addictive....

Lovely image Hrishikesh! Other than the tones, I also like those random erratic lines and faint leaf shaped patterns, like brush strokes :)

And my answer to your question is yes and no.. It is largely possible to re-create what you visualize, but, the mind's eye is so dynamic and creative that it is also impossible to re-create some visions on a canvas :)

Thank you Radha for your views and comments. Very interesting thought about dynamic nature of the mind's eye.
