Excellent seeing and image here Sandipan ! Beautiful use of the background to portray the subtle mood here. Those little flowers and the dragonfly beautifully stands out against the chosen bg and creates a nice viewing experience. Thanks for sharing.

Images like these not only are pleasant to the eye but also provide so much of happiness to the mind. The subtleties of nature are expressed so beautifully. The whole wide world......Amazing Sandipan.

Class ! Great decision to go for monochrome ...The sharpely rendered twig in the centre is taking some attention if i am not wrong....A vertical frame can solve that problem, but not too sure
about the overall mood then !

Ganesh, Radha, Nilanjan da and Jayesh --- thanks a lot for the comments.
Jayesh, You are right. In fact I too noticed this when I was processing the image and that's why I haven't used any selective sharpening in that region. I will prefer not to use vertical framing as it might spoil the mood. However I will try to check if I can soften the twig or reduce the contrast in that area.

Love this one Sandipan! That dragonfly just pops out from the background. I too agree with the choice of the horizontal frame as it just creates the feeling of thick vegetation. Would cloning that twig seen in the gap in the middle have been too intrusive? I wonder!

Absolutely amazing. This image is having such surreal complexity in it, yet the monochrome effect makes it so simply beautiful. Amazing.

Sandeep and Hrishikesh,
Thanks for the comments. Cloning is an option but personally I would prefer not to use cloning on this image. :-)
