DUST STORMS N CORBETT...
Corbett with its vast scapes tantalises and teases..a small dust storm seems magical in its colours and hues....

I feel like covering my nose and hair when i see this image! (and my cameras!!) - well captured, the dustbowl that Dhikala became those two days. That ghost tree and the dust-space does well to convey the gloomy conditions.

i feel the need for a little more ground at the bottom... allowing the elephants and brush more visual room... just my feeling :)
Overall, a super feel to this image.

fantastic..."feel " to this image. I agree with arati about giving a little more space at the bottom....but then this is different....and I like it as it is...

Hi Neelu,
Yeah I too agree with Arati about some more ground at the bottom. Also The top looks flat without any hint of background. A tiny grain of that would've lifted it a few notches.
Thanks for sharing

Lovely creation (amidst chaos'n dust). I am not surprised that Dhikala can offer such unusual images, may be you could have cropped-off a little at the top. thanks for sharing.

Nirlep, arati, sriram.... i did do a version with more ground at the bottom, and felt it was taking away attention from the topline of the elephants...and opted for this ones instead...

Nirlep ..noted ur comment about the top looking flat...maybe as Vikram has suggested cropping off a little at the top...will reduce that.....will do....

thank u for the inputs.

Looks like I missed this opportunity at Corbett. Light on the elephants is special here Neelu. A few more pixels at the bottom and front would add further I think. Thanks for sharing.

Neelu I love the image as is. The compo is perfect for my tastes. The Elephants at the bottom of the frame with the featureless sky and the tree just emerging from the oblivion and must I say the elephants going into the void. It strikes a nice note inside me somewhere deep.

HARSHA.....looks like we agree on some sensibilites..and contrary to popular opinion.....i think thats where..the subjective perspective takes over..that seems slightly different from what should have been obviously composed... guess it could be done either way ...different strokes for different folks..
