Personally I would like to see it without the horizontal. It interrupts the smooth flow of gaze from top to bottom. Do you have one without the croc?

Just for records this is close to about 5yr old image. This was shot way back in 2007 in Ranthambore.

good habitat image Shiv...i feel all those white spots in the water could be cloned to make the image more simple...the small vertical line is generating lot of visual interest...elimination of that also possibly....

i was not sure what i felt in this image, could not put my finger on it, so kept coming back to it. Finally, just now, it has struck me. It has been a long time wish of mine to make a moody image in the swamps/ bayous .... and set a story there. this image brought that wish to the forefront again... it was the beginning of a story that lurked in this image.

to me, it is calm, ethereal, yes... but would make a wonderful poster for a predatory suspense movie...

Very different and interesting composition. TFS

Nice image Siva, this creates a mood of being lonely in the swamp jungle with a scary companion . Not sure why but it gives a feel of being in the Amazon (though I have not been there).
