Wonderful composition and beautiful colors. To me it's like selective coloring! There is slight vignetting and should be removed.

Excellent composition Shankar. After seeing this image I used to go to Ramsingh road everyday in search of small blue KF on those beautiful stones (while everyone busy searching for tigers :) ), but I did not see one..

Shankar....there are kingfisher images and there are kingfisher images....but this ones lovley..its peace and tranquility and soft pastel colours...the rocks add to it...contrasted with the OOF grass clumps....love it.

Hi Shankar,
The image has a strong sensual charm about it. Two rocks at the top mimic lips making the water alive with passion. Colors take the story of charm further. i'm so struck by the sensual in the image that kingfisher doesn't exist for me. I have even tried visualising it by cropping till the stone occupied by the bird.
Great forms great colors great seeing!
