Normally Great Hornbill images I have seen are in color, I think going monotone is a good idea in this case. My only feeling is placing of the bird, may be if it was placed further right than it is now would have conveyed the movement of the hornbill better. Thanks for sharing.

Vikram...totally agree with your observation...
but ive been experimenting with a lot of "why not" .. and letting it sink in ..for my own sensibilities...over the "why"... in some images..
and its just some deviations from the "should have been this way".....a learning curve ..for me .. i guess.
