Ficus, Another Avatar
This pretty lace-like creeper adorned many a bark in Borneo. And when i learned it was a Ficus, i was blown away. Ficus, to me, are big, tall, massive trees. And then, this avatar. Nature, you are truly complete and perfect!

I see this as mehndi on tree trunk, wonderful creation of nature. I see a domination of green in this image, not sure if its my monitor or that was the way it was meant to be. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderfully soft feel of the image is giving a nice soothing feel to the viewer. Relatively less contrast is also adding well to the effect. May be a small crop from the top would enhance it further? May be or may not be!

I too thought this to be tatoo!! Beautiful one Arati..
As Ashwin says cropping out 20% top portion may add further..

Ficus ! truly amazing , Never seen this `Avtaar' of it . It reminds me of ornament `Bajubandh' - A gift to the tree from nature :)

I also see many possibilities of interesting compositions ... TFS...

Very interesting image of this nature's keystone. Incidentally we have a homegrown species which adorns gardens in urban spaces which clings along walls and become a carpet. Ficus pumila. This genera can never been dull. They do some amazing things, including splitting rocks. The patten has come out nicely here. The silver border brings out an ornamentation not normally encountered in Ficus, great learning this.
