Red Carnation

Hi Krishnan,
What strikes me here is the size of the flower. Usually another element is required to have an idea about the scale but this image creates the effect of its own strength. It looks like a giant ..almost a tree..dunno how but that what it does.

loved the composition..the hues and the oof..size of the flower, its orientation in the frame, visually grabs me..very lovely.

I liked it! Agree with Nirlep on the observation of the feel of the size! The out of focus did the trick I guess. Very nice one!

Thanks all ! I usually have a hard time with abstracts especially to judge if its any merit at all.

The way I see is I just ask if I like what I see, I have a tough time ascribing pure emotions to an image...duh !
