This is excellent Ravi, the silhouette and the tone of the background are just perfect for the mood that you have tried to express. Loved this image.

I think your muse is the vine snake, most of the images are centered around this subject. I hope this is not a captive one. The hint of coconut and rose takes away the otherwise nice tones and curves here.

The coiled snake adds a lot to the scene...bluish mode depicts the mood nicely

I liked the mood very much. Shot long after the sunset? I would probably decrease the brightness to a little extent to enhance the evening mood.

It is usually difficult to photograph snakes. When the sense the human presence they immediately run away or vanish in the bushes/ rocks. But vine snakes are very much confident of their camouflage capacity. When they sense human presence they keep still and stop moving. It is very difficult to spot them in green leaves. So unlike other snakes one can photograph these snakes for hours together. Also they appear in the same plant/ bush almost everyday during some season.
In the monsoon, in malnad a trained eye can spot many vine snakes. Probably they are the most road killed snakes during monsoon in malnad region.
So I think this is not a captive snake.

Thank you for your comments.

@VMR sir - definately not captive one. As Adithya has mentioned its very easy to spot GVS during pre-monsoon/monsoon season.

I had got suggestions to come out of my comfort zone of green images, so i had decided to try something new when i visited my native last month. I was really not looking for GVS, but to my surprise i saw one on Rose plant(i dont remember seeing GVS on non-green plant earlier).

I had already tried Macro Silhoettes that day till then and i saw opportunity to get Silhouette of snake here.. Unfortunately i couldnt have avoided coconut tree.

@Adithya - Cant agree more.. Thanks for putting it across so nicely. Yes it was shot after sunset, i did spend about 30-45 minutes capturing from different angle/bg. I was lucky to get blue sky on a cloudy day for few minutes.. i will share other versions too later..

something very captivating about this silhouette, i think the oof palm fronds in the background add a softness to the mood created, very very nice..
